Production Class: 'The Best Christmas Pageant Ever'
In this hilarious Christmas tale by Barbara Robinson, a couple struggling to put on a church Christmas pageant is faced with casting the Herdman kids-- probably the most inventively awful kids in history. You won't believe the mayhem-- and the fun-- when the Herdmans collide with the Christmas story head on!

Both boys and girls will learn theater in a lab-type setting. Students will learn the entire process of putting on a production, including terminology and character development. Each student will be expected to participate in a respectful manner and be dedicated to the process. Students will also receive a grade based on attendance, punctuality, attitude, and servant leadership. Testing will be available (not necessary) for high school students to receive credit if desired.
Performances will be December 1st and 2nd and two performances on December 4th, 2010. Dress Rehearsal and set build will be November 30, 2010.
Additional participants that are 5-8 yrs old will be needed for the Angel Choir and can sign up in November to participate in the play!
Materials Needed: Pencil with eraser, water bottle, sack lunch, snack. Families will need to assist and locating their own costume. Costumes are minimal for this play and must be approved by the director. Parental assistance of any kind will be greatly appreciated and useful for the success of the play!
